T-SHIRTS!

T-SHIRTS!! (CLICK TO ENLARGE)

These awesome shirts designed and donated by Nashvillian graphic designer Trent Thibodeaux!!

Here's the deal. Because we've had SO much trouble getting PayPal to cooperate, we've decided to do this old school, and use checks.

If you want a t-shirt, here's the steps.

1. Send a check for $18 (you can send more if you want but $15 will cover you shirt, shipping, and a donation of $10) here:

Victoria Schwab <--make the check out to me, as I'll be opening a special account for this.
1205 Woodland St
Nashville, TN 37206

In the "to/for" part of the check at the bottom, please put "Do the Write Thing Nashville".

2. Email us at dtwtfn at gmail dot com with:

Your name
Your address
Your shirt size

As soon as we receive your check, we will email you a confirmation.

We know this is a leap of faith, but we promise that every penny (minus production and shipping) will go to directly our charity.

We will be taking checks for the next TWO WEEKS, and then will place the order with our t-shirt provider.

Thank you, as always. And if you have any questions, please email.

AUCTION TWIST #3345678

REGARDING SUZIE TOWNSEND AUCTION.

The thing about having so many amazing contributors is this: they change their minds, they up their games, they make incredible displays of generosity.

Agent Suzie Townsend emailed me last night to say that she noticed the last four bids for her editorial letter on a full ms and phone call were all over $1000.

Her exact words: For that kind of donation, I'm willing to read and write an editorial letter and call all four of them (please note it will take her a few weeks, and she asks you to be patient).

So here's the thing. With $200 separating the four, we've knocked the final bid back to an even $1000. Four highest bidders: Derek Whisman, Helena Carlo, Denise Grover Swank, and willmail, if you are still willing to bid that, contact us via email ASAP.

We continue to be amazed by the generosity of our community.

How It Works

We'll clarify as questions arise, but for now, here's how the auctions will work:

ADDED: Comments are for BIDDING ONLY. Please post your bids in the comments sections.

1. Each item up for auction will post separately (ten to fifteen items every day).

2. You will have THREE DAYS to bid on items (well, until midnight CENTRAL STANDARD TIME on third day). We will give a Twitter/Facebook/blog comment warning to let you know when items are about to close (Twitter accounts @veschwab; @MyraMcEntire; @AmandaKMorgan. When comments close, bidding is over. Highest bid/last commenter wins. Winners will need to email dtwtfn @ gmail dot com.

3. In the event a commenter does not claim their item, we will proceed to the next to the last commenter, and so on.

4. Money will be collected in a Pay Pal account and one lump sum will be donated to http://www.cfmt.org/floodrelief/ ...

5. We ask for payment within one week of the close of your auction. The money is desperately needed by victims in middle Tennessee, and we'd like to get it to them as soon as possible.

6. Your PayPal receipt should serve as your proof for tax deduction needs.

7. In the case of any items up for bid that involve critiques, ALL PAGES ARE TO BE DOUBLE SPACED WITH A TWELVE POINT TIMES NEW ROMAN FONT.

Again, we'll add more instructions as questions come up! Thank you so much!
