A finished copy of Raised by Wolves by Jennifer Lynn Barnes (this doesn't hit the shelves until June.)
An ARC of Vordak the Incomprehensible: How To Grow Up and Rule the World
A Team Vordak T-shirt (these are so limited that even Vordak's most loyal minions must grovel and beg.)

An Update on Your Hostesses

We have absolutely loved hosting this auction. All three of us have been humbled, overwhelmed and encouraged by the tremendous support of this community.

We are also ... exhausted.

You guys really surprised us. The donations came pouring in. And they NEVER EVER STOPPED. Like, seriously, another email just popped up.

We've come to the realization that in addition to the two hundred items we've posted or have yet to post, there are well over two hundred more unscheduled donations in our inbox.

As much as we'd love to continue indefinitely, we cannot. We made an attempt to bundle those two hundred plus items still in the inbox and then we started crying. And then we drank a little. And then we came to the conclusion that IT MUST END SOMEWHERE.

So it's going to end with ROUND TEN - which will go up this Saturday and end Monday at midnight CENTRAL STANDARD TIME.

HOWEVER, for those of you who'd still like to contribute: T-SHIRTS ARE ON THE WAY.

We'll take orders here after the last auction is closed. We're trying to keep the price around $15, and we'll post the design as soon as we have one.

The hope is that you all understand how (I need an adverb but I really can't think of one)-ly grateful we are for the many, many donations and how sad we are to not be able to use them all. Your generosity is TRULY overwhelming.

That said, we're VERY EXCITED to bring you the next three days worth of auction items. They are spectacular.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for donating, bidding and spreading the word. You can contribute directly to The Community Foundation by clicking the tab above.

P.S. - J.K. Rowling, we're saving one spot on day ten just for you, just in case. Better hurry, you don't want Suzanne Collins to decide to snatch it up!

(Nothing would surprise us now.)

Day 7 - Item 18

Let's round out the afternoon! Treat #3: A signed copy of THE ACTOR AND THE HOUSEWIFE by Shannon Hale, donated by Jen Lamoureux.

Day 7 - Item 17

Treat #2! A signed copy of VAMPIRE ACADEMY by Richelle Mead, donated by Jamie Manning.

Attn: ROUND ONE AND TWO WINNERS

Hey all,

If you were a ROUND ONE or ROUND TWO winner who emailed us the day your auction ended, and have yet to receive ANY email communication from us, it's because either A) we don't have your email or B) you haven't emailed us yet.

So (and this might be the only time we say this) PLEASE EMAIL US TO CLAIM YOUR ITEMS.  Remember, you have exactly one week (seven days) from the day your auction ended to claim your item before we move to the next highest bidder.

We love you guys for being so patient with us and really appreciate each one of you!

Amanda, Myra, and Victoria.

Day 7 - Item 16

Time for some afternoon fun! First up: A signed copy of THE DEMON'S LEXICON by Sarah Rees Brennan, donated by Carla of The Crooked Shelf blog.

DAY FIVE CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT

Day Five auctions will close tonight at midnight CENTRAL STANDARD TIME.

See these auctions here.

LUNCH SURPRISE

Lunch with NYT bestselling author Claudia Gray for you and up to three friends!

FROM CLAUDIA: If you win the auction, I will fly to the nearest major US/Canadian city and meet you and up to three friends/family members/any non-ax-murdering folks you'd like to invite for lunch or dinner, where I will pick up the tab. (I am also picking the restaurant, which will be nearish the airport, probably, but will be someplace nice.) Everybody at the meal gets signed copies of HOURGLASS, the third book in the EVERNIGHT series, and I'll talk with you about the series, upcoming books, writing, publishing, Stefan vs. Damon, you name it.

A couple of caveats:

1) Due to existing travel commitments, the lunch or dinner will need to take place either in July or in October. We'll work together to find a date that can suit everyone.

2) A major city is one I can fly to nonstop from Chicago on a major airline. It has to be in the United States or Canada. If you are unsure about whether the city would work, email me at evernightclaudia at gmail dot com, subject line "big city for DTWT auction," and I can let you know before you bid.

3) Thanks to the awesome author of WAKE, Lisa McMann, for being brave enough to do this and inspire me to follow in her footsteps!
